Finishing Strong: Celebrate the Good

Genesis 1:31 NKJV
Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
At the end of creation on the 6th day, God looked back and celebrated what he had done. He said it is very good. God took the time to celebrate the good that he had created and that should be a lesson to us.
Sometime we go through life without taking the time to smell the roses as some would put it. We focus so much on the negative and missed opportunities that we fail to notice and celebrate the good that we have achieved. When we don’t take the time to look back and review, we will not take notice of the gains we have made in order to celebrate them. Instead we shall be like the children of Israel in the wilderness and complain and murmur instead.
The Bible tells us to give thanks to God in all situations for that is Gods will for us.
God wants us to give thanks always no matter what because there is always something to give thanks for. What you focus on you magnify and hence focus creates partial blindness. If you focus on the negative then you become blind to the positive and vice versa.
What are the things you can celebrate about 2022? I am sure there is a lot that God has done for you, a lot that you can celebrate. Take the time to celebrate because doing that gives you a heart of gratitude and that is the kind of heart that God loves to use.
Reflections.
Which one comes easy to you, complaining or giving thanks?
Entitled or privileged, which attitude do you mostly gravitate towards?
What are some things you can celebrate about this year?
