Abel Kipsang put out a stellar finish, capturing bronze in the men’s 1500m at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Serbia.
Kipsang, who finished fourth at the Olympics, put up a strong finish in the final 100m to beat Ethiopia’s Tadesse Lemi in a sprint finish, clocking 3:33.24.
Samuel Tefera, the defending champion, won the race in a Championship Record time of 3:32.77, with Olympic Champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen taking silver in 3:33.02.
Kipsang finished third, earning his first global medal after finishing fourth at the Olympics last year.
