The exam season has started with some KCSE candidates sitting for their papers this week. As of Monday next week the remaining KCSE candidates and all KCPE candidates will sit for their first papers. The cabinet secretary for Education, Professor George Magoha has been making rounds in various schools to check on the preparedness of the schools towards the exam period.
Professor Magoha is currently in the coastal region to embark on some school visits. The Minister finished his rounds in Kwale County earlier today and he is set to move to Mombasa County on the later part of the day. The minister will also be commissioning a new Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) building in his visit to, Star of the Sea School in the region.
Kofi Annan once said, “Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family.” With that we wish all the candidates success as they sit for their KCPE and KCSE exams respectively.
