The Supreme Court has also rejected the application by Agano party leader and presidential candidate David Mwaure to be enjoined in the case.
The society had filed an application to be joined in the petition as amicus curiae, saying it has the expertise to help the apex court reach a fair decision.
The petition by presidential candidate Raila Odinga, among eight others, is seeking to challenge the results of the August 9 poll that saw Deputy President Ruto declared President-elect with 50.49 percent of the votes cast.
