Zimbabwe President Mnangagwa in Kenya for a three-day state visit

His Excellency Emmerson Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, is today in Nairobi, Kenya for a three-day state visit.

According to State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena Mararo, the Zimbabwe Head of State is accompanied by First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa.

During a ministerial meeting, earlier today, Kenya- Zimbabwe Joint Permanent Commission for Cooperation (JPCC) co-chaired by Kenyan Foreign CS Amb Raychelle Omamo, and Dr. Amb. Frederick Shava, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Zimbabwe, signed an agreement that holds great promise for cooperation in various sectors, opportunity to strengthen bilateral ties, and leverage the potential for bilateral trade, investment, tourism among other areas.

The signed agreements by JPCC lays a strong foundation ahead of President Mnangagwa’s deliberations with the host President Uhuru Kenyatta later during the day.

President Mnangagwa took over from the late President Robert Mugabe in November 2017.
