This world is full of difficulties and challenges. But it is possible to walk through its moments of darkness with positive God inspired thoughts.
Indeed, our victory begins in the dark when we begin to pull out of it in response to God’s grace. We must remember that each new day of our lives begins hours before dawn. Therefore, one should not be discouraged because it has been dark a long time since that in itself is a sign that God is about to do something that you have never seen.
You should remember that the moment God gives you a promise, in essence, your new day begins. You may not see it yet, but in the beginning of dawn, we all know that there is a breakthrough that is on the horizon anyway. That is why the Scripture says in Psalm 30:5 “Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning”.
God gives us grace to trust that a day is coming when our sorrow will turn to joy and we will be with Him forever.
When you are full of hope and faith, sorrow will not have the last word in your life. Sickness and disease will not have the last word in your life. Cheer yourself up in the Lord because Jesus conquered the pain of His darkest moment and He overcame death and the grave. Because He rose up from the dead and the grave in victory He has the last word over the threat of death to human life. As partakers of His resurrection power, we should know that our moment of joy is coming in the morning. Therefore, our mourning will turn into dancing as our joy comes with the morning. As such, sorrow will turn into dancing based on the promises of Almighty God.
As the Scripture says, “the promises of God in Christ Jesus are yes and amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20). God’s promises in Christ Jesus powerfully motivate us. These promises are reminders that He, the author and perfecter of our faith is faithful and that we therefore need to awake to His loving presence and power in our lives.
