Understanding Salvation: Glorification

Philippians 3:20-21 ESV
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
As believers, we await the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ. When he returns, our enemy the devil will be thrown into the lake of fire where he will be tormented forever.
We, on the other hand, will receive new eternal bodies which will not die. Just as Christ received a new glorified body at his resurrection, so shall we.
1 Corinthians 15:42-44, ESV
So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
The new bodies will be imperishable, glorious, powerful, and spiritual.
Sin will no longer be present, and thus we shall be with the Lord forever, what a glorious time it will be.
As it has been well put, we are saved, we are being saved, and we will be saved.
We are saved from past sin at our conversion justified.
We are being saved from present sin, continually set apart Sanctification.
We will be saved from the presence of sin and given new bodies, Glorification.
Once justified, we have the promise and guarantee that one day we will be glorified and forever be with our Lord. Amen.
Reflections.
If you could change one thing about your appearance, what would it be?
Do you have the assurance that you will be with the Lord in his kingdom forever?
What do you imagine life will be with no presence of sin?
