The movie is set at a time when humans were a commodity. Trapped in a cage a young girl awaits her fate. “For your consideration this beautiful maiden, 18, 25,” the bidding begins. Anna is sold to the highest bidder, Polycarp. However, she is not sold to slavery but into a new family. The Christian family in the 2nd century of Smyrna remove her chains and slowly start to introduce her to Christianity.
Polycarp is seen evangelizing in the streets when the Romans asked him, “Do you claim your God is greater than Ceaser?” Under the rule of Roman oppressors, Polycarp and the Christians must find the courage to stand for their faith against the growing threat of persecution.
