Prayer for the church

HEBREWS 10:24-25

“And let us consider together how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Father in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We come before you this day submitting our bodies as a living sacrifice! We are thankful that you chose us before we chose you, through your son Jesus Christ, who shed His blood to redeem and reconcile us back to you.

We are grateful for your mercy that said no where there was judgement. As the church or the body of Christ, you have marked us to continue with the great commission, as you ambassadors. We are grateful that we are the carriers of your power, grace, anointing, presence, and blessings.

Today, we stand with your word that the church is built on a rock, that is firm, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. We are grateful that when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of God shall raise a standard against it. Today we choose to rejoice in the Victory of the cross, for the church of Christ Jesus is growing stronger, marching forward and the world is getting the light of God through it.

We rejoice to know that the power that works in us is illuminating every darkness. We are grateful to know that we are the salt of the world, and many are being seasoned by it. Hallelujah thank you Jesus Christ for the church that is greater than the beginning. We continue thanking you for the unity of purpose, and the love amongst us. Help us to always remember, that the church is the light of the world through Christ Jesus. No wrong doctrine, another gospel, or the teachings of demons can override the church of Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour the coming King! We are confident in this one thing, that the one who started a good work in us, the church, carrying the latter Glory, is faithful to accomplish it with victory. Therefore father God we are thankful for loving us unconditionally, and that we are conquerors in Christ Jesus our Lord. This with pray in confidence in Jesus mighty name. Amen
