Picture this you are in a foreign land where your career has flourished beyond imagination and you are living in peace. Would you leave, your family and all your belongings to go and fight for your birth country?
Sergiy Stakhovsky, a recently retired professional Ukrainian tennis player, was in Dubai on vacation when heard the news of the Russia invasion in Ukraine. An all too difficult decision lay on his shoulders and Sergiy eventually left his young family of three children all under 7 years and his wife in Hungary. To go back and fight for his country; he is a member of the army reserves placed in Ukrainian capital City of Kyiv.
