Family Media Celebrates the Life of Evangeline Njoki Karanja

The Family Media fraternity sends our love and prayers to the family and friends of Evangeline Njoki Karanja, a one-of-a-kind servant of God who has finished her earthly mission and taken her place with Christ.

Evangeline was a faithful partner of Family Media. Through her contributions and prayers, many lives have been reached and many souls brought to the Kingdom. As her name suggests she remained one of the greatest evangelists, helping us to Keep Jesus on The Airwaves and reaching thousands of people through TV and Radio in regions and places we cannot physically go.

As we celebrate her life today, only eternity will reveal the worldwide fruit borne by Evangeline Njoki’s untiring, lifelong pursuit of bringing souls to the Kingdom and by supporting the vision of Family Media.

Evangeline died on 20th February. In a eulogy statement, her family wrote, “Evangeline was first diagnosed with cancer in 2006, and was in remission until the unfortunate recent recurrence in 2019 and 2021.”

She was married to Stephen Njage Karanja and was blessed with four children. She was a career teacher who taught in various schools and retired in 2015.

“Disease struck you, changing your bright and active life but you continued being strong, never to forget our children and your duties. I cannot describe the feeling that you are not with us anymore. Nevertheless, this is the will of our Creator and we cannot deny. Rest in peace.” Stephen Njage (Husband)

Born on 21st September 1956 in Kianjuki village, Embu County, she was the daughter of the late Hazron and Janet Njagi.

She was a born-again Christian and active and committed member of the Mothers’ Union, Home care Fellowship, and a member at St.Pauls ACK Church.

She was laid to rest on 3rd March 2022, and it’s so wonderful to know that our Sister Evangeline is in the arms of Jesus.
