Twenty-eight-year-old Joseph Ochieng was abducted in Kawangware on February 19, 2022, by unknown people.
His family would, a few days later, find his body in a Nyeri morgue after it was retrieved from a river in Othaya.
The family said Obude’s body had signs of torture adding they were also in fear because they suspect his death was politically instigated.
This is because a week before his abduction, he had met Deputy President William Ruto at his Karen residence
