A Prayer for Clarity: Seeking clarity from truth

“For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6

As human beings we seek clarity on so many things. Every area and season of life seems to need some sort of clarity, and in different levels and ways. We often take for granted how clear and precise the word of God is, when it comes to giving clarity, and how we can use it as a tool to seek the best perspective.

You see, we should not see clarity as a clear view that fits our own desires, but rather know that clarity is only found in truth. And what is truth? Jesus Christ, and the knowledge of him thereof, which is what we see in the verse above.

“Father in heaven, help us to seek clarity in your truth. Help us to see life in view of your word.

May we become closer to you so that when we seek clarity, we only see you.

In Jesus Name, Amen.”
