Gospel singer and minister Samwel Ilagosa, famously known Ilagosa wa Ilagosa has been laid to rest today at his home in Vihiga County.
Ilagosa who was born in 1980 is known for his songs Sala Zangu, Atatupigania, Hakuna Silaha, Nikumbuke and many others.
His burial ceremony was attended by fellow gospel ministers such as Solomon Mukubwa, Anastacia Mukabwa, Jane Atieno, and Geoffrey Kwatemba among many others.
Ilagosa passed on while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Nairobi. He had been unwell for two months.
Following his death on February 3rd, there were conflicting reports concerning the cause of his demise. A postmortem conducted on February 13th revealed that he died of blood pressure that had caused heart enlargement.

His death comes barely a year after the burial of his mother.
The alumnus of Kakamega high school and the University of Nairobi says he was inspired to join gospel music by late gospel songbird Angela Chibalonza who employed him after school.
He is survived by his son David Ilagosa.
