Wisdom for Living: Does it Glorify God?

I Corinthians 10:31 NKJV
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Many of us have the tendency of dividing our lives into two segments. We have the spiritual segment and the secular segment. The spiritual segment consists of what we would deem as spiritual activities like going to church, bible study and prayer. The rest that falls between Monday and Saturday and the activities there in fall within the secular.
With this kind of thinking it then becomes hard to fit the spiritual into the secular because we have reduced the spiritual into activities done on certain days and in certain environments.
Paul is giving us another principle by telling us that in our liberty, whatever we do, we should do for the glory of God. Although in context this scripture is in reference to eating or not eating food offered to idols based on our faith, I believe it gives us a principle we can apply wider in all we do.
Our lives should not be divided into segments, but we should look at it as one. We are spiritual beings having an earthly experience and in a relationship with a God who is Spirit. All we do reflects on the relationship we have with God, and thus all we do we should do with that in mind.
The job you have, do it for his glory. That business, that marriage, even the activities you do, eating, walking etc, do everything for his glory recognizing that he has given you the liberty and strength to do what you do.
Make everything in your life about him not just on Sunday but every second of your life on this earth.
Reflections
Have you divided your life into secular and spiritual segments?
How has that affected how you live and your spiritual growth?
What are some of the things you have never considered doing for the glory of God?
