The Spirit of Giving

In the book of 2nd Corinthians, Chapter 9 verses 6-8 says, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

There are people in this world living up to this word. Proving there is still hope in the world more so in Kenya. As the spirit for Kenyans for Kenyans still lives on. Yesterday, the residents of Samburu East benefited from food donations by Meru traders. The traders from Maua open market took the initiative to address the needs of the suffering drought stricken families in the region.

“We are very grateful that they came to assist us. They have brought us all sorts of food stuffs and water that is not salty,” Elizabeth Lemisula a local resident stated.
