The Head of State has today met with leaders and representatives of special interest groups at State Lodge Sagana to discuss the progress of Government development projects in the Mt Kenya region.

While addressing the delegates, The President urged his community to back Raila’s bid saying he has the best interests for the country. He further said that he did not need permission from anyone to initiate the handshake with the ODM leader Raila Odinga, however, he pointed out that he briefed his Deputy William Ruto every step of the way.
