Devotion: Practical Evangelism. Let the Bible do the talking for you

Romans 6:23 NKJV
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
One of the reasons many people do not evangelize is fear, and one of those fears is not being sure of what to say. We fear that we do not know the bible well, and we don’t know how to articulate the salvation message clearly.
The solution is simple, let the Bible do the talking for you.
All over the world, the Bible is accepted as the word of God. That in itself becomes a good starting point for us when we engage in practical evangelism. The key is in knowing what the bible talks about sin, its wages and the solution God has provided.
Verses like John 3:16 which is one of the most widely known verses and Romans 3:23 and 6:23 come in handy, not forgetting Romans 10:9.
These are verses that are easy to memorize, and many of us already know them by heart. They tell of God’s love for us and the problem of sin that separated us from Him. They also give a solution, which is salvation.
Knowing these scriptures and using tools like the four spiritual laws makes evangelism easy because then you are not sharing your opinion which can be disputed.  The word of God speaks for itself, and it cannot be disputed.
Reflections.
In summary, these are the four spiritual laws
1: God loves you and created you to know Him personally.
God’s Love
“God so loved the world, that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16)
2: Man is sinful and separated from God, so we cannot know Him personally or experience His love.
Man is Sinful
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
Man is Separated
“The wages of sin is death” [spiritual separation from God] (Romans 6:23)
3: Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for man’s sin. Through Him alone, we can know God personally and experience God’s love.
He Died in Our Place
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8)
4: We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord; then we can know God personally and experience His love.
We Must Receive Christ
“As many as received Him, to them, He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12)
