Jackson Kibor Dies at the Age of 89 Years

Jackson Kiprotich Kibor, a wealthy businessman who also served as a legislator in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, has died.

His family confirmed that he died last night at St. Luke’s Hospital in Eldoret.

His daughter Loyce Kibor says that he has been ailing for some time. ”He was hospitalized to St. Luke’s Hospital recently, where physicians confirmed that both of his kidneys had failed.”

Kibor was a prominent farmer owning more than 4,000 acres of land and other properties, including real estate in several parts of the country.

He was popularly referred to as the “Chairman of Men’s Conference,” he, however, was famed for good and contentious reasons.

He is survived by over 20 children.
