Most public money in Kenya comes from tax revenue. Almost all major taxes are collected by the national government, except for property tax and entertainment tax, which are collected by counties. Some of the Government funds/revenue also comes from loans and grants from donors or investors.
With the revenue being collected by the national government; ending up to be divided each year between the national and county governments.
