Bishop Jackson Kosgei nominated to represent Persons Living with Disabilities in Parliament

Bishop Jackson Kosgei is among the five nominated MPs under the President-Elect William Ruto’s UDA party, nominated to represent Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs) in the National Assembly.

Bishop Jackson Kosgei, who had previously presided over the Kenya Film Classification Board, had attempted to run for the Baringo senate seat in the general election in August but had been disqualified after the nominations.

Reacting to the news of her father’s nomination, the celebrated gospel artiste Emmy Kosgei, praised her father and said that it was God’s doing.

“Oh glory to God!!! Congratulations daddy, Hon. Jackson Kosgei, Bishop Emeritus. God can be proven! At his time.” She proudly stated on her social media.

The Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya Bishop joins Cysrtal Asige and George Mbugua who have been nominated to represent people living with disabilities.
