A South Sudan civil society watchdog has condemned unfolding political unrest in Western Equatoria State after a group armed men attacked the residence of a senior SPLA-IO commander in Yambio in which one of his bodyguards was wounded.
On Thursday, an armed group identifying itself as People Defenders’ Front (PDF) attacked the house of the SPLA-IO commander of division 9B in Yambio and clashed with his bodyguards, leaving one of the bodyguards wounded.
