The Invisible Active God: Divine Destiny

Esther 8:7-8
7 Then King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and Mordecai the Jew, “Indeed, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and they have hanged him on the gallows because he tried to lay his hand on the Jews. 8 You yourselves write a decree concerning the Jews, [a]as you please, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s signet ring; for whatever is written in the king’s name and sealed with the king’s signet ring no one can revoke.”
One scripture Christians love quoting is Romans 8:28 which says that all things work together for good to those that love God and are called according to his purpose. The story of Esther, Mordecai and the Jews is a great example of this. What Harman had planned for evil, God turned around for good.
After Harman is hanged on the same gallows that he had made for Mordecai to be hanged on, the King hands over all that belonged to him to Esther and Mordecai is promoted to take Harman’s place. He is also given the kings signet ring with which he makes another decree giving the Jews the right to defend themselves against anyone who tries to attack them.
We must never forget that God has a plan for mankind and he will go all out to protect his plan and to ensure that it comes to pass. Harman’s plan was to kill all the Jewish people and what this meant is that the lineage of Christ would be wiped out. Gods plan and destiny for mankind is that we would be redeemed and restored in our relationship with him which is what Christ came to do. Anything that sought to come against that plan in the Old Testament, God would deal with it harshly.
The aftermath of all this is that the Jews all across the kingdom were filled with Joy and gladness and many people became Jews meaning they acknowledged the God of Israel.
Those on Gods side will always win because if God be for us, who can be against us?
