The most famous bible scripture in the world is John 3:16. Amazingly, this verse tells us the heart of God and understanding this scripture should cause anyone to run to him. God our Father has a heart full of love. In fact, he is love.

Now for the majority of us, probably grew up in homes where our fathers loved us when we did the right thing, or they paraded us when we had success. Because of such experiences, we come to God and expect him to be that way.

The bible says that all have sinned and the wages of sin is death. But even that being the case, the bible says that while we were still sinners, God sent Christ to die for us. It is not God’s desire for any to perish, that’s why he has extended his grace to us to be reunited with him.

The word tells us that if God gave us Jesus his Son, what would be greater than Christ that he would deny us.

When we understand that God is love and that his heart for us is love, then even when we go through the valley of the shadow of death we understand that all things work together for good. This is what Joseph understood when he told his brothers that though his brothers did him harm, it was Gods plan all along.

Gods has a good plan for you and me. He loves us and nothing can separate us from his love.
