Philippians 1:6
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
God completes what He starts. For instance, when He began creating, he did not stop until He had completed the same on day six and saw that it was very good. The same is true when it comes to the work of salvation. God does not stop working in us until Christ is fully formed in us. Until He brings us to the shores of our heavenly home. This is the confidence that Paul has while writing to the Philippians. That he is sure of one thing – the one who began a good work in them is faithful to bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. The grace that saved us is the same grace that continually sanctifies us and is the same grace that will sustain us to the very end.
This is great hope for the one saved by grace. I need not worry about the outcome of my salvation so long as I am continually surrendered to Christ. Nothing will separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus – neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation (Romans 8:37-39). With this in mind, we can’t help but worship together with Jude:
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. (Jude 24-25)

1. How often do you marvel at the great salvation that you have received?
