World champion Tyson Fury prays with cancer suffering child

Heavyweight world champion as of June 2022, Tyson Fury, shared an emotional video of him praying for River Rhodes, a seven-year-old boy suffering from cancer.

“Heavenly Father, I ask in the mighty name of Jesus, to heal this little boy River,” Fury can be heard saying in the video as he hugs River.

“Take him into your hands and heal him with your Holy hands, Lord, this a little baby child Lord, he has committed no sin, in the mighty name of Jesus, heal this baby, Amen”.

River was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer of soft tissue which accounts for 53 percent of childhood cancers in 2021 after his mum noticed his eye was starting to droop.

He has since started chemotherapy which will last until December.

Fury visited the boy as he tours the UK with his series of shows “After Party”, as he takes some time off following his victory against Dillian Whyte in April.

The boy’s battle has touched the heart of many other sports figures, including Manchester United captain Harry McGuire who dedicated a goal to him.

River has also met Cristiano Ronaldo and Jack Grealish.
