Amazing Grace: Surrendered to Grace

Galatians 2:20-21
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.
There isn’t much to say today, but only to argue that the only appropriate response to grace is to surrender. To reckon ourselves crucified with Christ thus dead of any self-interest and selfish ambitions. To allow for the life of Christ to be revealed through our lives. To rid ourselves of any attempt to earn righteousness. To borrow a cliché statement, “To let go, and let God.” As the hymn writer, Isaac Watts, put it:
Were the whole realm of nature mine,
that were a present far too small.
Love so amazing, so divine,
demands my soul, my life, my all.
Reflections
1. Are you surrendered to grace?
